With the exception of one shot, not all of the actors happened to appear in a scene together at once, and so those that were not acting at the time would help me to set up everything for the required shot.

Gary Thorne

The protagonist of the music video known only as the Stranger, Gary was the first person that I asked to help out with my video. He owns a bike, which was used is many shots throughout the music video and was in fact rather crucial to the video. Gary caused no trouble throughout the shoot and did exactly as I needed to the best of his ability, considering that he in fact is not an actor.

Adam Powell

Serving as the antagonist within this story, Texas Red, Adam was the person that caused the most trouble when it came to scheduling. Due to him working a full-time job, it was often the case that he did not have the time to come into Okehampton and help out. Fortunately, he was able to take the day off and come into town to shoot the video. Adam was also the most difficult person in terms of getting him in front of the camera, however once he was being filmed, he performed to the best of his ability.

Luke Smaldon-Jones, Toby Loud and Elliot Westwood (From left to right respectively)

Luke, Toby and Elliot all appear as side characters during the music video, playing the townspeople that watch from the sidelines, only occasionally intervening. Luke lives in Okehampton, and so met me at the same time as Gary did. He was the first side character to be featured in the video, and did a consistently good job in every scene that he was featured in. Toby is another person who doesn’t live in Okehampton, however in doing so, was also responsible for getting Adam a lift in to town with him. He also brought one of the prop Nerf guns used in the music video. Elliot was in fact an unplanned appearance in the music video as I had not contacted him beforehand in order to get him to appear. It just so happened that he was already at the park while we were shooting, and as such we used him as a third side character in certain scenes. This is why he is in less scenes than the other two side characters.
