For the location of my music video, I chose to use Simmons Park, in my hometown of Okehampton. Along with being a rather convenient place to shoot, with all of my actors either living in the same town or at the very least quite nearby, it also features quite a diverse selection of scenery that could be featured within my music video.

By this, I mean that the park features a good choice between both wide open scenery as showcased above, creating a more spacious atmosphere for certain scenes within my music video, as well as a more enclosed environment, particularly in the forest, as shown below. This should help to keep a certain pace to the video, as for it to not begin to drag on later throughout, due to the new locations then introduced.

This location also features a few small structures scattered around that I intend to also use for specific scenes. Particularly a small hut on top of a hill within the park.

I feel as though the use of this hut will help to add a vertical level to the music video, rather than everything taking place simply on one plain of land.

Along with the additional sense of height, this shot would also be a perfect establishing shot for setting the scene, potentially with a few characters scattered around.

Furthermore, it is also quite near to a river, however due to the Western setting that I am going for, I may not be able to effectively use it within my music video.
