Short Horror Film Costumes/Make-Up/Props

Initially, I was going to need a typewriter for a prop in my film that was going to in fact be a central plot point. However, upon my decision to have all of the shooting take place in Spain, I was no longer able to bring it with me and as such no longer had a need for it. Nevertheless, I had actually already acquired one from a neighbour.

While shooting in Spain however, I didn’t actually use any props in the shots that made it into the final cut and as such have nothing to put in this category. The same goes for Make-Up.

My “Costume” was a rather contemporary attire of a hoodie and jeans. Quite a common outfit nowadays, though it does contrast with the vintage 1930s look that I aimed for when it came to the style of my Short Film as a whole. I did this on purpose in order to separate the style of the film with its actual time setting. As evident once the protagonist goes down in the garage, there are a multitude of cars that most definitely did not exist during the 1930s. As such, I felt it was necessary to further distinguish that despite looking much older, the film itself does still take place in the modern day.
